COLUMN: It should be one of the most coveted jobs in the City of London: chairing BP. Finding a candidate, though, is proving tricky. An honest description of the role should read something like this: $BP #OOTT @Opinion

Rhino/Azule already achieved success in PEL 85 🇳🇦 $BP $E Dayrate is mid-$300k but ST work. With most LT work starting 2H26+, filling idle time in 2025 is primary focus. Limited dayrate read-through in softer 2025 market; these two firm wells primarily support NOL’s debt service NOL is an intriguing potential future secured bond issuer IMO $HYG $JNK NOL has two high spec UDW HE Semisubs, Bollsta and Mira. Bollsta recently commenced a firm two year contract (w/ options) in Norway at ~$460k dayrate for Equinor. Mira operates in Namibia, where short-term exploration dominates. With development drilling 2+ years out, the focus is securing short-term fixtures to fill its schedule until multi year work likely begins. Given Mira's experience in the Orange Basin, it would be well positioned for a long future in Namibia. $ODL.OL will have management contract on these wells Rhino's last well was the successful Capricornus 1-X. Azule Energy is the BP/Eni JV that has a 42.5% non-operator interest in PEL 85 Namibia. Given BP's strategy for more oil and gas capex, this upcoming well will be of particular interest.
