As believers practice and use these senses, they get better at receiving and interpreting these promptings, much like a child refines their understanding of the world through experience. The development of spiritual senses enables believers to connect with God’s eternal perspective. Unlike human senses, which lag slightly and capture only the past, spiritual discernment aligns with God’s timeless truth. This alignment allows believers to perceive the future not as a puzzle to solve but as a reality anchored in God’s word. For instance, when facing uncertainty, faith prompts believers to trust God’s promises over their circumstances, whether in matters of provision, relationships, or purpose.
