$Moons are taking off again. These are the token for the world’s largest cryptocurrency community. There’s reason they have done well and can do well again. I’m no longer a holder which admittedly makes things harder to watch, but when they do well, I’m so happy for my r/CC friends. I’ll tell you about them. I found Reddit Moons back in 2021 and from the day I learned about them, I was interested…and soon became obsessed. Reddit Moons are the native token to the subreddit, r/CryptoCurrency, with around 4 million members at the time and now 9.1 million, this IS the world’s largest crypto currency community. ~4 million members and this token called $Moons that was on the Rinkeby test network with no exchanges. The price was about $.03 with a market cap of around $3M. Moons were given to users for commenting and posting. In a ratio relative to their karma. There were “moon farmers” making more by commenting in the subreddit than their countries average salary! I thought to myself, wait a sec, the largest cryptocurrency community has a token on a test network with plans to potentially move to main net and zero exchanges yet? You literally had to send XLM or BUSD to an address and wait a few minutes to get moons in return. The potential I saw in Moons was huge. For the next year and a half I farmed moons, scraped any remaining funds together to buy, and made swing trades in price jumps. I was pretty poor and in college but no matter what, I put 8% of what I made into them. Fast forward, Moons did it, they hit Main net allowing trading on RCP Swap and Sushi Swap. Additionally, a few months later Moons hit two CEX’s, MEXC and Gate io on the SAME NIGHT! The price has made some jumps into the $.30s and corrected Months later, moons hit Kraken and Crypto dot Com and the price was now in the $.60s. I sold 100% of what I worked for years and rotated some profits out and put buy back orders. A few weeks later, Reddit Announced they would stop supporting them. A crash from $.22 to $.025 happened in just a few hours and many were saying Moons were dead. I had a massive buyback order at $.16 that obviously filled, and now the price was $.03. Decisions were made, I thought about the idea of a contract reassignment or anything else and doubled down. My average was now $.072. Just a couple weeks later, the price went back to $.30 and I sold at $.16 and rotated all of that money into alt coins into the bear bottom of the bear cycle. This is my story, and I do really wish I still had a size able holding. I also am happy about what I decided and Moons are truly to thank for building what I have today. Now that they’re moving again, I can root for my friends. Moons will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart and someday, I’d think about making a position again. I think these are still a great token to hold and going into this bull market isa much different story for moons than last run. They are now on main net, they have access on DEXs and large CEXs and quite a bit more publicity. Do you think r/CC’s Reddit $Moons could be a big deal this run?
